We are all uniquely created in His image and have been set apart for His work, and have great story yet to tell. We come from different walks of life, different cultures, different home styles, but we all have a story to tell. Many of our pages are weather battered, worn, torn and possibly lost or forlorn. As it is these stories can help another in their searching efforts, and can even bring back home those who have strayed from the narrow path. Stories told by a living word (testimony) are often the brightest to shine especially when they’re lived out in a loving example and shared from the heart.
Every twist, every turn, every dream written or spoken
in the chapters of a life lived out is a story that can help another in their
journey. As our stories continue allow the Lord to help guide you along this life’s
path’ He knows the story that is yet to be written; “for those who love God all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28)
By His tender mercy and
loving grace in between each chapter of my life there is a pause and I must
learn to (quote from my BFF) “Surrender The Outcome”. It’s in the hiccups and
bends in the roadway that often ensnare us from staying the course of our
journey. We must be alert and watchful as the enemy is seeking whom he can
devour, and will rob us of the story we are to live and tell.
Today, ask yourself,
what story am I writing? If you haven’t written a journal, or kept thoughts on
paper, it’s never too late to start these pages and chapters of your life. Be
encouraged in the Lord, pick up the pen or pad and have it ready to write. It
can be a story at the fence with your neighbors or in the marketplace with the
one who needs to be uplifted. As a student working in our department always
said when asked how his day was; Q would say “Living Life Ms. Maryann” just
Living Life. I am thankful for all the encouragement others bring to the table.
May you each find rest
and blessings in the stories of the past, present and yet to tell.
Happy Writing,,
Jeremiah
30:2 This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book
all the words I have spoken to you.
Psalms 102:18 – Let
this be written for a future generation that a people not yet created may
praise the LORD.
