Jars!!!

  • In the parable, Luke 15:8-10 , a woman searches for a lost coin, finds it and rejoices... This morning, a jar of coins in the hands of a shopper came crashing to the floor with coins and glass everywhere. This broke my heart for the man spending his jar of coins on items that may be a great need for him or his family. With sky rocketing prices, and empty shelves it’s crushing to see this happen, glass and coins splattered all over the entrance of the store. We often have jars filled to the rim and they are overflowing with great ingredients, but at times our jars are depleted and running on empty. Today, what does my clay jar hold? (2 Cor. 4:7. But we have this treasure in jars of clay, that the surpassing power belongs to God not us.) We can be easily broken, at times temporarily fixed, and yet we are uniquely created. This world will try to break us, bend us, and we get shattered, but God often allows a small crack for His light to shine through. You hold a special treasure and we’re created to share that treasure with another. Be confident and know our God, the Majestic Artist is working with a great purpose and plan for your life. Grace and Mercy to behold! Beauty from ashes.... May you have a jar filled with blessing from within.
