Think Christmas

Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁 2019. It’s six am and everyone in the house is asleep. Just sitting and  waiting to hear the excitement as our beautiful daughter enters the room. Thinking about households across the land warms my heart, but this Christmas I can’t help but think upon so many who are struggling, those who are sleeping under bridges, in cars, tents and places unknown. The lost, the hurting, the suffering of mankind. The Son of God came to earth by way of a virgin and left by way of the cross. He bore all our transgressions and iniquities upon His shoulders and did this willingly for generations. The lamb that was led to the slaughter for you and I. We must take a moment to pray and seek Him, we must give thanks, for He is good and He loves us, He loves our families, He loves our neighbors and friends. God loves, because He is love. In thinking about laying little goody filled bags on our neighbors doorsteps this morning reminds me of how He has given us the gift to share, a precious pearl, the good news and hope for all. May we take time today and in the remainder of this year to be about the Lord business. Redeem the time we are allotted to offer a helping hand, a good word or act of kindness to those who desperately need to see the hands and feet of Jesus.  Take a moment to sit, wait and see for He is good and He loves you.  Blessings
