December 1, 2020. We have rolled through every month of the calendar, for some it’s been a year for heartache and yet they’ve pressed on. The Word reminds that when “When You’ve Done All You Can Do… Stand”. (Eph. 6:13). Today, it’s hard for many to stand, the loss of loved ones, the loss of time spent with loved ones, the loss of jobs, homes and the list goes on. This morning it’s hard for my husband to physically stand, as the pain is so excruciating and it hurts to see him hurt in this way. Maybe you have suffered loss and need a healing of the heart. Hope is the message of this Advent week; we are the hands and feet that can bring this word of hope to the hopeless. At times, despair comes as a thief in the night, but we must stand and put on the full armor God, not partial, but full!!! He has equipped us all with garments to fight! Be strong, be courageous, victory is sure to come. We must unite in prayer and offer a good report to those who need to hear one. Prayer is often the key that unlocks the door to life. May we all find December to be one of great comfort, and ease of heart. There are stories and pictures of so many that need to know they are loved and with this pandemic, the isolation has proven to be one of the greatest tools of heartbreak. May we be compassionate toward others and offer words of hope! As we close out this year sharing your life experiences with another can bring about a healing process. I know a beautiful lady who is one of the greatest story tellers I’ve ever known, and she has great musings posted, my mother in law. She has taught me so much, and for that I’m grateful, the stories are a reflection of her inner beauty and love for the Lord and her family. Hope often comes by a word, a story or maybe even a quiet place of worship. Let’s close out this year with His message of Hope! We can all use a bit of it. Blessings
