Hope s not canceled, and the Holiday season is not canceled; it’s portrayed differently this year. For some the past holidays included waiting in long lines searching for that special something for that special someone. This year has proven to change the atmosphere for all. The season is never canceled, even in times of change. It has always been about celebrating Jesus’s birth, it’s been the story of the Shepherds worshiping, and the Magi bringing their gifts, and the angels proclaiming the coming of the Savior! This is our heritage, and it should be celebrated every day of the year, especially this year. May this Christmas season prove to be one of Hope and Wonder. Letting go of the what could’ve been and embracing the what is; celebrating Christmas with those around you, even if it’s staying home. Take time to reach out to your neighbors. Prepare that batch of cookies and share them with the people in your community. Be safe, be well and be a blessing this Christmas! 2020
