Quilts.

Lord, You take the scraps and strips, those worn out pieces, torn and stained pieces, large pieces, small pieces, even tiny pieces, a colorful array of beautiful hewn threads that make an amazing work of art. You Lord, turn them into majestic works for characters display. Masterfully crafted from the sewn strands that connect each quilt square from within my heart. The pieces that broken or wounded will be mended and those that are tattered or torn will be stitched with love. Some pieces may not be fitly joined, but at times it takes a bit of mending to connect each one. In our eyes we may see a frayed blanket, but in Your eyes Lord, You see great potential and life! The Master Quilter is working it all together on my behalf, and He will see me through with a newly crafted pattern. Being pliable, and ready to be stitched one thread at a time is needed for constructing a marvelous masterpiece. Create within me a clean heart quilt today, Lord!
