WORDS

Words spoken bring life and bring death. Often words leave wounds and scars deeper than the heart can heal. Many are suffering  today from  words of defeat spoken over their lives. Take inventory of the words on the tip of that tongue and control the spew that might come out today. Thinking back to elementary years words spoken by teachers had a huge impact on my life, albeit some not so good. While others brought a desire to do something amazing in life. Isn’t that true of words? Some can be sweet as honey, and others sting like the bee that created the hive.                                    Proverbs 16:24 states; Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.  As you have time to get ready for the day think about the words of encouragement that can be spoken today. Maybe there’s someone who needs words of exhortation, hope, and faith laced scriptures. I see it in the faces of new graduates, they come with smiles and some with thankful words, but it’s in that moment they also need words of wisdom and encouragement as they seek out new opportunities. Be a light and shine brighter with every promise God has for you, and share it with another. WORDs of LIGHT and LIFE. Blessing.
