Lately, I’m reminded that daily mundane tasks can be overwhelming, but are often blessings in disguise.
Do you wake up to a new day consumed with what lies ahead or do you count your many blessings with a thankful heart for every little task at hand? For us, sleep deprivation with a restless dog due to seizure activity can make it tiresome, but I'm reminded that there is a lesson in this somewhere.
We must sit back, stop and breathe to take heart of things in the midst of our daily trials. We're told a merry heart does good like medicine.
Do you have a merry heart today?
Are you willing to lay down your worries today?
Or are you too fearful of the next task at hand?
God hands us opportunities in the small as well as the BIG moments of life. It's up to us to embrace these moments and cover them in loving prayer.
Look at your family today and bless them! Look at your spouse, children and loved ones today and bless them! Look at your friends today and pray a blessing over them! Look at your community today and pray a blessing over it! Look at the world and its chaos today and pray for God's mercy to come!
May God be gracious to you and bless you and make His face shine upon you.” (Psalm 67:1)
Everyone wants to be loved, but it's important they know who the giver of love really is! Shine and share your light, allow the Lord to radiate His love through you today! Be a blessing and the example of His infinite love to those around you! Embrace the tasks at hand and bless each moment. While you do this, you in turn will be abundantly blessed. Blessings.
