"She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy." Proverbs 31:20
Do we often times find ourselves wondering where God wants us? It's in the times of waiting and wondering that we learn to be still; we lean upon Him and rely upon Him for what our heart knows to be right. Following after the heart of God and allow those rock building moments to grow us. His timing is made perfect in everything, and know there is a purpose and a plan. (Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end".)
It's the handiwork of a loving God that you were designed and for so long ago. You have been crafted in His loving hands as a handmaiden of the Lord. Redeem the time and seek the qualities He has for your life.
Ruth 13 “Then she said, I have found favor in your sight, my lord, for you have comforted me and indeed have spoken kindly to your maidservant, though I am not like one of your maidservants.
1 Sam. 25:41 She arose and bowed with her face to the ground and said, Behold, your maidservant is a maid to wash the feet of my lord's servants.
Luke 1:38 “Then Mary said, Behold maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
So many women of God are precious handmaidens of the Lord. We see examples in Gods Word, Ruth was kind and humble, Abigail was a intelligent, Esther was a leader, Hannah gave her child to the Lord, Mary was an obedient “servant of the Lord”.
Take a moment to consider the handmaidens of the Bible; see what characteristics these women had and how they might build character in your life as a woman. Let this desire flow from the depths of your heart before You Lord. He loves you! mab 2.27.21
