Sunday services or even a day without worship is a dry bones kind of day. Worship is when we are giving our lives to the Lord in a loving manner, and not expecting anything in return. Prayer is our open line to communicate with the Lord in a two way personal relationship. It’s a life surrendering source that brings our focus back to Him on our faith, hope and love. We can genuinely come to the altar with a heart of worship and prayer, a pure moment of loving adoration. Both are woven into a beautiful portrait of Gods love for all, it’s a life surrender. When you are worshiping and committed to the Lord, you then are able to pray more effectively. Prayer is the way we give back in total worship. (1. Thess. 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.) When we are in deep prayer it takes us into His Presence where worship can become the source of strength needed for the day, and our hearts are aligned with the Lords. May you find a getaway today in Worship and Prayer. Blessings to behold. 💜 mab
