Changes! Managing a life full of change can often get stressful and a bit overwhelming, but with it comes the hope of renewed vision and strength with the planning. Work has been filled with these changes almost daily since March 2020. It seems that the changes have impacted others as well especially in education. At times change is necessary, but as the old saying states; “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”. With so many schedule adjustments we must try to stay calm and breathe, for this too shall pass. I am reminded of a great verse “the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever”. (Heb. 13:8). We will not be shaken no matter what the future holds, because we know who holds our future. The Lord knows the BIG picture of our lives and we are to walk out the plan and purpose He sets before us. Time and change is inevitable and we’ve all walked through a hard season the past year.
May we take time to meditate on the goodness of the Lord when changes come our way to resolve not to buckle under the pressures of life. Be a light and offer words of encouragement to those who need it most. Whatever changes you may face today, next week, next month or the year ahead, remember, there is nothing impossible with God! Take time and make time to study, pray and praise, in this you will find rest no matter what changes or challenges you’re facing (There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecc. 3:1)
