The Message of the Cross brings life eternal to those who’ve accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Paul was a messenger of the gospel to the Corinthians. He proclaimed the good news and spoke of the cross at time when immorality was it at an all time high. Where are the Paul’s and Silas’s of our day? They lived the gospel and shared their lives as a living testimony. Thankfully there are some today that share their life stories with zeal for the Lord. My husband is an example of Gods witness, and I’m so thankful he seizes every opportunity to pray with and for others during times when he has so many challenges he himself is facing. My mother in law, our son in law, our pastors and youth pastors are living examples of Gods witness today, and my list goes on. So thankful for each testimony shared, each story read and prayer prayed. We should all share the Good News in the same way with others; Jesus himself tells us to share the gospel. (Matthew 28:19-20) The commitment and fortitude of Paul and Silas’s life is an example of what we should be doing as the body of Christ. It’s an example for believers to work together, and be the hands and feet of Christ. We are in a time where there is a great divide in the church body, and it’s important to know your walk IS empowered by the Holy Spirits leading. Take time to hide His Word in your heart daily; be ready to give an answer, in season and out. We are called to be dedicated servants of the gospel of Christ. Make ready - for the Lord come today! (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
Matters of the heart.... Thankful for every sunrise and sun to set... Its with abandonment and resolve to serve Jesus Christ my Savior!
