Joy...

Referencing number counts on words in the Bible , Joy is in the NIV 218 times. It’s a word that declares Gods goodness, and in this verse Neh. 8:10 we are told to not be sorrowful. Joy is part of the day we should hold close to our heart as it helps bring a heart of thanksgiving to the forefront no matter what things may seem like. This kind of joy comes deep within and shows our love for the Lord. It’s a type of Hallelujah, a resounding praise...

The old song composed centuries ago the “Hallelujah” Chorus from Handel’s Messiah was inspired by one thing; joy. His writing in the “Cries of Hallelujah”said; “when joy is present, Jesus Christ is expressed.”  I believe Mr. Handel was a-tune to something deep within his mind and heart. Just as Nehemiah states in the verse-photo, the joy of the Lord is our strength.

Today, don’t look to the headlines, but look to the One who has already written the headlines long ago. The Messiah, our song of Hallelujah. This type of praise is a powerful declaration of His love. Remember to walk in Joy today and raise a Hallelujah!!! Blessings
