Fervent Worship!!! In reading Nehemiah 8, and it’s display of reverence when the people gathered is a portrait of pure JOY!!! In this chapter it speaks of when Ezra the priest and scribe taught them the book of the law, they openly wept when it was read. Do we ever weep when the scriptures are read from our pastors? Do we weep when we ourselves read Gods Word? Do we weep when we are in fervent Worship? Do we even raise our hands in Worship? Ezra told them to not weep for the day was holy. Would we in America truly weep if the books of the law were opened and read? I’d say yes for some as they would be desperate for a move of God, and weep.. As stated in Nehemiah 8:10, we should not be in sorrow for the joy of of the Lord is our strength. As we prepare to cast our ballots tomorrow, do not be in sorrow if your candidate is not elected, but vote with your conscience and rejoice in the Lord as He is your strength and His will is to be done on earth just like it is in heaven. We will all need to just prepare a good meal and celebrate with our families in fervent worship. Blessings this day. @mab
