(Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.) Merriam Webster states; to Rejoice is it to glory, exult, jubilate, triumph and kvell. The word Kvell is a Yiddish word for Kvein, meaning to be delighted. When we kvell we are gushing over with something, and filled with exceeding joy. Today find a way to “kvell” in the Lord; sing a new song and make a melody in your heart. This verse was on my lips in waking, and I believe it’s a reminder of what God wants us to proclaim. We can shake off those heavy bands, lift up holy hands, and praise the Lord!!! Rejoicing takes place when God moves in the miraculous, but when things aren’t moving forward smoothly as they are for so many countless people its harder to kvell. Learning to rejoice in the circumstances that seem to change daily, but remember the Lord changes not! This verse reads we WILL rejoice, not we should rejoice. This morning take a moment to meditate on His promises and put on the garment of praise. The Lord God Almighty is walking with His people today and we must rejoice in His blessings for they are always yes and Amen! “Philippians 4:4 Rejoice always and again I say, rejoice.
