Prayers matter and God is listening! Do we spend more time praying for our families, friends and others rather than idle time wasted? Do we relish our time early morning or late evening with the Lord? Are we keeping our faces on social media platforms or in the Book, His Holy Word? Our pastor encouraged us to seek knowledge (Grace and peace to be multiplied to you; 2 Peter 1:2); this is a great tidbit for daily living. Pauls letter to the Thessalonians was; Rejoice always, and pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:16-18) and to: give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you) Can we truly give thanks in all circumstances? Personally I don’t think we can if we are not plugged into the source. Daily taking up our cross and following the Lord comes with a price. We must be diligent in study, keeping in prayer and meeting together. It seems the holidays keep families away from the church when the holidays should bring us closer together. We are in a time of battle and the enemy is seeking those whom he can devour. Be alert, be ready and make intercession in prayers. It’s time for us to come together praying, seeking His face and hoping for John 17 moments. Pray, pray and then pray more. Without ceasing means never stopping. May we take a time today to get alone and look up for God is listening ! Blessings.
