(Phill 2:12-18) We are to be light bearers of the world. We should not to be the grumblers and complainers. We should walk blameless and harmless and carry a light that shines as bright as the beacon of a lighthouse on a foggy night. Often times it’s hard to escape this type of mindset when surrounded by those who are constantly complaining and finding faults in another. They are the grumpy ones and the most unhappy people. It’s time to take personal inventory and hold fast to the word of truth. We should be rejoicing and blessed as we personally know the Light of this world, Jesus! (Matthew 5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.) A great analogy is: “We should be as the thermostat as it regulates the temperature, and not be like thermometers that will reflect or adjust to the temperature.” We can be the light bearers that help implement the vision and walk in wisdom . Don’t be as a thermometer, critical and complaining every step of the way. Be a light bearer and help navigate by way of the cross. We have two choices; we can let our surrounding world change us for the worse, or we can prayerfully help change it for the better. Be a positive source of light today and avoid the grumbling at all costs. It’s unhealthy and unwise. Be a Blessing.
