Christmas treasure to behold!

Surely the season would not be filled with the warm comfy cozy feelings of yesteryear if old time traditional songs were not sung. Yes, the halls will soon be decked for all to see, troves of treasures will be on display in homes, scented candles will be lit, delicious meals will be prepared, and stories will be told of the birth of a Newborn King, our Savior Jesus Christ... Heralds of Noel will ring loud and clear during the Christmas season. It’s a time when some will establish new traditions in their homes homes; while others relish embracing the old. All too often memories for many are filled with heartbreak, pain, sorrow and suffering, and yet for others it’s a time to rejoice, and celebrate renewed hope of a brighter future. This Christmas what would your innermost desire be? Would it be wrapped in fancy tinsel tied with a bow? Could it possibly be a desire to see a loved ones life radically changed? Could it possibly be just taking time to make a difference in those you see on a daily basis? Spreading love to those whom you close to your heart. It can be prayer for the one who needs a physical touch, a total healing in body, mind and spirit. If not, we can time to spend with a stranger who needs a shoulder to lean on. It could be that delicious home-cooked meal for the shut in, and even lending a helping hand at the local soup kitchen. Whatever this Christmas treasury of wants and desires you may have this year; make sure to make them count for all eternity. Treasures of this earth will surely pass away, but the time we have to spread His good news is now, its sprinkled with Peace, lathered with Love and is needed most for all too hear. People need to know there is a Hope. They need to know someone cares! They need to see the love of our Savior lived out in our lives. Take time to entertain the Christmas stranger, for in doing this you may entertain an angel unaware. It’s a time to be refreshed, renewed, its time to relax, its a time to refrain, and a time to share love to all. May you find pure blessings and abundant joy in the future with a thankful heart no matter the circumstances... Meditate on this; spreading Peace, Hope, Joy and Love. Blessings
