Arise and Walk!

How often does the Lord call us to something and we discern His voice in that moment. It’s days like this where noise, clamor, commotion and confusion seem to drown out the Lord’s voice, if we are not careful to pause and listen.

In the Book of Acts Peter told Aeneas to rise and walk, and immediately he got up, rolled up his sleeping mat and was healed instantly. (Acts 9:34). Spreading the Good News is imperative whether in word, deed or lifestyle. Lately I’ve found myself thinking that the Lord has been showing me the way to walk in, and often I fail to step up. My days can be filled with stressors, but the Lord will show up. It’s in the eyes of students that need an encouraging response or just an ear to listen to them. While at times fatigue and frustration of the day can hinder the ability to share, we (I) must find ways to improve on sharing the gospel. God has been so good in my life, and I just want to praise Him, no matter the circumstances.  Today, we (I) must determine to seek His face, and call upon His name for wisdom , strength, guidance and protection. The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised.
