Crossroad of a faith walk
Jeremiah 6:16 This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'
Ponder “crossroad of a faith walk” this morning. It’s a walk where the journey brings one to a place where we totally and completely focus on what Jesus has in store. Its where two roads meet, and one must make the choice to walk on the right path. The faith walk is the assurance that God has this master plan for our lives.
Do we take time to think about the crossroad of a faith walk?God will reveal himself in God-sized portions, but it only begins with the faith as small as a mustard seed.
Remember God has a master plan; it’s much higher than our ways and has the best in store for us. (Jeremiah 25:11)
Do we think about inspiring others or do we think about the mundane tasks at hand? All too often, we become bogged down with life’s cares, daily stressors, looming schedules, and unexpected bends in the road. The crossroad can lead one astray if they are not careful, and led astray. God wants to turn our crossroad of faith walk into amazing blessings. When we don’t know which way to turn, He is the one who wants to pour into our lives. We must learn to seek guidance through His word, prayer and even fasting. It will move us closer to His purpose and plan for our life. God may tell us to take a step of faith and start moving and that is when we begin to see the growth. A tree will not grow bear much fruit unless it is tenderly pruned. So is our life and faith walk when standing at crossroad. God assigns us to take a step of faith in such a way that we cannot stay where we are. Start moving and start growing. Ask the Lord what can you do today to make a difference in a life? Ask Him to give you a fresh vision, a new desire for more of Him, and less of you. Ask Him to help you walk in the way that pleases Him. He loves you and cares for you today. Be blessed in your faith walk…
The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. (Prov. 16:9)
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for; the conviction of things not seen. (Heb. 11:1)
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (Ps. 119:105)
