Scars 💔

Psalm 147:3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Scars are those wounds that can be seen from years gone by. Maybe it’s that first bicycle ride when you crashed and tumbled, or just the nick on the kneecap or shin from running. These scars can be seen and are wounds from years past, but the hidden scars of the heart take time to heal, and some may not fully recover.

The heart story scars are painfully deep and for many people these wounds may never be healed without the help of the Lord.

These are the areas of sorrow and grief, those painful words spoken over you that may have impacted your life, or those relationships that are broken and tattered; scores of reasons what the scar on your heart story and what it represents.

It’s in these moments when God can use this pain to move you closer to Him and bring you together with those you love.

Matters of the heart whether scarred or not can only be dealt with through a simple process of healing. Often times journaling is way to tell your story. Think about that for a minute.

Whatever circumstance you’re facing right now whatever you are walking in, big or small. if you are experiencing pain don’t waste time on the pain. If God has purposed for to you to experience this right now whether it’s a deep scar seen or unseen (heart scar) one; don’t waste the opportunity to draw near to the Lord and to others through this experience. He is ready to meet you there and He can bind up your wounds. He loves you.
