“Mysteries of the gospel”.
Ephesians clearly speaks about the mysteries of the gospel being revealed by the Spirit of God. With this, Ephesians 3:13 reminds us to not lose heart. (v. 13 “So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.”) The appreciation of this mystery is to know the love of Christ (3 v. 19)” which passes knowledge so you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
What is this statement - the fullness?
It’s the total encompassing nature and character of God. If you are a believer you can ask God to fill you with His fullness and have faith that the Lord will do just that. It states in; Phil. 1:6 “He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.” With this we must be filled to capacity. It’s an overflowing with all that He is in us, an all consuming fire.
When we see the love poured in us and it’s the fullness of God, we then have a great appreciation of the purpose of the mystery. Walking by faith and not by sight takes courage, stamina and strength.
Be strong in the Lord today.
He loves you!!!
Blessings,
