Clock. Ticking

 Clocks are quite intriguing! Our Internal alarm clocks are placed within us by our Creator. We have learned to push those snooze buttons on the digital clocks and sometimes watch the analog clocks for hours at a time, but I say the internal clock has by far the best outcome to daily living. When rest is needed and you need have to rise at a certain time it’s amazing how our bodies are created to do just that. 

We recently moved from a noisy location to a somewhat serene neighborhood, and it’s been so peaceful to wake without the sound of zooming motorcyclists, traffic, ambulances or trains running in your back yard. Mornings without an alarm clock make for less hurried starts to the day and seem to bring a calm. Just as the alarm of our conscious God created a calm within us as we’re reminded in; “1 Timothy 1:19 - Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences”. 

We might need that alarm clock, but don’t turn off your internal alarm that God’s placed there for a purpose. Clockmakers work on intricate gears and are master craftsman. So too is our Lord and Savior, our Master Creator gives us the hand tools such as His Word to guide us through life. May we handle with care the instructions of our internal clock.
