Giving Thanks 🍁

(Psalm 30:12 That my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise You forever.).                                                                                                                                      Lord, this morning I’ll give praise to You. When it seems the clouds have opened and poured a hard driving rain, I’ll give thanks to You for shelter. When hours in a day are far spent and there is no time for rest, I will give thanks to peace and calm. Where there is uncertainty on how to get through the daily scheduled tasks, I’ll stop and give thanks to You for being ever present. At times when prayers are prayed, faith is alive, hope is active as the anchor and reminder to give thanks to You always. When the rising cost of food, gas, water and bare necessities is beyond belief, I’ll know to give thanks to You for provision. It’s in times of waiting for healing for my husband, friends and loved ones that need Your touch, I’ll be surely surrendering the results, and earnestly giving thanks to You for prayers answered, yet though unseen. You Oh Lord, are my thanksgiving and this day I raise my hands, my voice, my all to You! Lord be magnified in my life. May I be a light to those I meet. Help me to be the encouragement and a source of inspiration to all I meet this semester, and especially for my family and friends. I love You Lord, and I give thanks to You for strength in this new day. Amen
