Conformity: It’s compliance with a person's desire to fit in with a social group. This can be a problem with making moral and safe decisions. That’s why this verse (Rom. 12:2) is such a lifeline for followers of Christ. The church often mirrors the same image, it follows what’s deemed society’s norm. One thing we’ve learned in 2020; what others may call the “New normal” is not what I would call normal. There is nothing normal about a pandemic, frenzied media, social distance, chaos in the streets and the list goes on. Social acceptance was paid for long ago on Calvary by way of the Cross, we are not of this world, we are passing through on a journey to our heavenly home. We must keep our eternal focus and not be caught off guard. Remember, the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life and life more abundantly. Stay the course, be courageous and be an example of what God would desire for you and not what the world would be influencing you to do. Blessings! 🖤Black to represent sin.
