"John 20:15 "Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" While Mary was perplexed when two angels appeared and asked her; “Woman why are you weeping?” This is followed by the Lord then asking the same question..”Woman why are you weeping?”. This woman despised by so many, yet forgiven and loved by God. She had quite the reputation and yet Jesus saw her heart of compassion in that moment and still shows great concern. We must be careful, not jump to judgement as we don’t know what people have been through and are facing in their lives Just like Mary, only those closest to her knew her heart. Jesus’s ministry and life was about healing and helping people. In this hour Mary allowed the pain of her heart to be poured out, “tears at the tomb”. She gave her pain a name and carried her grief to bear. All too often we hold back the pain of our hearts when it needs to be released for the balm of healing to flow. Through her tears Mary recognizes the Risen Lord Jesus. Do we recognize the Lord in our daily living, no matter what we may be facing, no matter what hurt, no matter what suffering and no matter what joyful moment? Remember He is holding you close and loves He you. Will you hold Him close? Many blessings.
