2 Cor.. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; The old has gone, the new is here!
Reflections from words of a song; You are more than the choices that you've made, You are more than the sum of your past mistakes, You are more than the problems you create, You've been remade.
Reflections of the past can be liberating to the one who walks with Christ. How refreshing to know that the Lord is remaking you and shaping you daily. It is important that in this daily walk with the Lord you remain close to Him and meditate upon His word daily. After all, we are inundated with worldly images, and they can entice and weaken our walk with the Lord if we do not keep our mind stayed upon Him. His word clearly tells us; “Psalm 101:3 I will set no wicked thing before my eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not stick to me.”
Today ask yourself, what is my mind stayed upon? Is it praying for the one who needs prayer? Is it stayed upon the goodness of the Lord? Is it stayed upon, who can I bless and be a blessing too? Is it stayed upon who can I reach today and lead to the Lord? Is it stayed upon who can I make difference too for kingdom purposes?
Make the declaration:
I am choosing today to follow after the Lord and to keep my mind stayed upon Him.
I am willing to stop and pray for the one who may be away from the Lord.
I am interceding for the one who needs a miracle, healing touch from the Master.
I am desiring to serve the Lord with my whole heart..
I am not perfect and will not claim to be, but I am forgiven.
I am thankful and will being to have a heart of gratitude.
I am unashamed of the gospel, and will speak the Good News.
I am His, and He is mine, blessings be unto the Lord.
Today as you reflect take time to thank Him for giving you a heart of gratitude. May the Lord bless you all…
