Waiting & positioning!

(Psalm 40:1-1 I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth;a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him. Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, or to those who turn aside to false gods. Many, Lord my God, are the wonders You have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.)                                                                        When the Lord positions us in a way that we must place our trust completely in Him, we are then left standing on the Rock and its a sure foundation. It’s what gives strength required for the day, and the rest needed for the night. It’s the season when  proclaiming His goodness and His loving mercy becomes natural. It’s a healing that wells up within the soul and declares victory! Waiting can be very exhausting, but it gives us confidence when we press on in prayer. Only He alone can accomplish what we can’t, and when we are helpless then we can totally rely upon Him. God is not limited by time, as found in His word; a thousand years is as a day and a day as a thousand years,(2 Peter 3:8-9).  When worship and prayer become our food and water we are then loaded with His daily benefits. May we all take care and have time with the Lord today. It’s needed for miracles to take place! God brings healing! God delivers! God restores! God revives! God is a God of the miraculous! Remember this verse: “I am the Lord; I change not!” (Malachi 3:6) blessings.
