The Day if the Lord comes as a thief in the night as we can read in 1 Thess. 5:2. Yet, in the book of Joel 2:32a we are reminded of the prophecy “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Chapter 2 starts out by a great promise; “sons and daughters will prophesy, old men dreaming dreams, young men seeing visions.” These are great words for a personal and national redemption experience. Gods promises are truly yes and amen! We can see hope for revival in our generation, and it’s yet too come. When the Spirit of the Lord is being poured out, it’s a rainfall in epic proportions.
Do we desire the rain of His Spirit too fall? Do we yearn for our sons and daughters to prophesy?
Are we believing for older men to have dreams and the younger ones visions? Are we interceding on behalf of our nation for a repentant heart?
If not national, how about on a more personal level? Do we desire the Lord too pour out His Spirit on all? If not, maybe it’s time to have altar calls in your home, in your family?
It’s time too look up! It’s time to call upon the name of the Lord. Let me start by bowing my knees today. I pray you find an altar close by....
Matters of the heart.... Thankful for every sunrise and sun to set... Its with abandonment and resolve to serve Jesus Christ my Savior!
