Survival Kits may contain several items such as; flashlights, matches, cutting utensils, first aid items, food items and so much more. One thing remains a necessary item for survival, and that is the Word of God! Daily studying and reading God’s Word so that it becomes planted in ones heart and mind in order to proclaim scripture to others. It can become a tool that helps one be prepared with sharing in times of crisis and disaster. Below are just a few great survival scriptures that will enable one to study and glean from God’s Word. Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
2 Chronicles 20:15 “This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
Lamentations 3:21,22 “Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.”
Isaiah 41: 10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Philippians 4:4-7 “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ whom strengthens me.”
Matters of the heart.... Thankful for every sunrise and sun to set... Its with abandonment and resolve to serve Jesus Christ my Savior!
