01.30.09 Words that warm my heart from our daughter that loves us so unconditionally.
Just last night after a hard day at work I just wanted a few moments to spend on the computer, when letting our precious one know that mommy needed just a few minutes. It totally broke her little heart, she came up to my lap and said this with arms outstretched; "HUG". So this mama's heart melted and I stopped to pick up our baby girl and give BIG HUGS. We had a lot of play time after that. I am realizing now at this age the importance of stopping everything for another time. There was a point in my life when all the work that loomed in front of me was a priority, and those times I cannot take back. I remember one time when our most awesome son told me I spent too much time cutting vegetables when he needed some mom time, for those times I cannot take back, but I glean from those memories. I am so thankful for the times we did have together . So now as I am seasoned with age, praying for wisdom these times seem to grip my heart more and more. I hope and pray that I can stop, listen and spend more time HUGGING. Thank you my precious daughter for reminding me of these priceless times we have to share... I love you little one... I love each and every precious son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter that the Lord has so blessed my life with. I love you all... Mama
